Complete Auction Services

Whether you’re retiring, downsizing, or are looking for someone to handle a large estate sale, Atkins Auction Service has the know-how to get your items sold. We will evaluate your property to determine the best sales and marketing plan for maximizing the return on your items. Then, we’ll work with a targeted group of buyers to gain interest and participation in your sale. The day of the sale, we’ll create a fun, engaging atmosphere to make sure that buyers—and sellers—get the most out of the event.

It might have taken years to accumulate a household of items, but it will only take a matter of a few short days for our team to sort the items, wash/clean them to entice bidding, and set up for the auction. We're fast, professional, and we work to get you top dollar for your beloved collection, estate, or antiques.

The Seller: Why you should consider having an auction.

Choosing to have an auction can be very rewarding. First, you gain a team of professionals who can maximize the interest in your items. They can organize your items and effectively present them to a targeted audience. The environment of the event encourages competition, which often leads to higher sales. The settlement of your sale is also expedited, putting cash in-hand sooner. And finally, you have greater flexibility. You choose the date and location. We take care of the rest.

The Buyer: What you can expect at an auction.

Auctions are an adventure, giving buyers an opportunity to find items they need, want, or discover. For each item, you choose what you’re willing to pay. You have an opportunity to sort through countless items, find unique pieces, and add to any collection. Most of all, auctions can also be a more affordable option over traditional shopping opportunities.

Our Auction Team

We rely upon trustworthy and respected members of the Arnold, Nebraska, community to assist us in preparing for an auction, each one bringing their own unique skills and background to ensure your auction is a successful one.

Brad Atkins. Owner and "auctioneer extraordinaire." A personable, likable guy, Brad makes each auction an enjoyable event, keeping bidders attention and encouraging interaction which results in higher profit for the seller.

Deb Atkins. Deb has one of the toughest jobs of the team—keeping track of Brad! Seriously though, Deb handles all the bookwork for the business making sure each item sold is accounted for so you receive your money promptly when an auction is closed.

Kim Beshaler. As owner of Nebraska Farmhouse Antiques, Kim knows today's antique market. Her keen eye for desirable antiques and talent for marketing them is invaluable for getting top dollar for our clients.

Pat Turley. No stone is left unturned when Pat's on the scene. She can't help it, it's what she does every day as a licensed insurance agent. Pat finds value in the details and knows how to bring out the best in each item.

Dwaine Lemkuhler. Dwaine's experience in farming, livestock, and horse training adds more depth to our business, making sure your property is marketed appropriately. As an auctioneer himself, Dwaine knows how the business works inside and out.

Cal Joy. A retired mechanic and business owner, Cal's knowledge of the automotive and trucking industry provides another area of strength to Atkins Auction Service. In addition to looking over farm equipment and anything else mechanical, he also assists with auction setup.
